I am deeply excited to share that the new queering existentialism space is launching on violette today. This will be a home that integrates resources, group chats, events and collaborative opportunities all in one digitally secure platform created for community and connection. This connection and education initiative started years ago with the mission: to co-create containers for the exchange of liberating ideas & the cultivation of practical and accessible pathways to communal secure attachment, through a lens of transformative justice & healing-centered harm reduction. This mission remains, with pathways to healing and human flourishing including:
psychedelics & liberation
revolutionary relating/sexuality
human-centered AI/technology
intentional cannabis use
creativity as resistance
magic, spirituality & science
holding space for the space holders
On our new digital home, you will find:
Feed: announcements, updates, opportunities
Forums: past workshops, articles, poetry, meditations, book and media recommendations
Events: upcoming in-person and virtual events/conferences, by and of the community
Group Chat: a space to engage with other members
Circles: encrypted spaces to share ideas, thoughts, feelings, creative expression, and resources across different topic areas [dm me on violette to request to join a specific circle)
Members: connect with other people who share these values and curiosities
This is just the start. I welcome collaboration, co-creation, and feedback—I want to build this space together. With people who have been there since the beginning, discussing non-violent communication in my living room in Brooklyn, with people I have connected with along my travels, to people I have yet to meet. “queering” existentialism—to question what we have been taught around our individual and collective purpose, in order to reclaim a sense of agency over what is truly meaningful to us and our communities, while unlearning the internalization of oppressive systems—was the foundation. Let’s share the answers we have been discovering and experiencing, explore what it means to internalize liberating systems, and discover the power of doing this work in containers that were made for us, together.
